I like to reuse uneaten curries, dals, cooked rice and put together another scrumptious and tasty meal. The benefit of doing so is enjoying the same dish in a new avatar. It’s suitable for people like me, who prefer not having last night’s food again.
Mix Vegetable, an Indian recipe, is a mixture of the variety of vegetables and spices. Usually, I end up making it in surplus quantities. And so, I look for alternative recipes where I can use the leftover mix veg and cook something new.
Spicy Mix Veg Lettuce Wrap is made with, the fusion of chili sauces and mixes vegetable, wrapped in fresh and crunchy lettuce leaves. The leafy taste of lettuce wraps blends well with the spicy and tangy flavor of the filling giving delightful experience to your taste buds. Additionally, this version of the wrap is healthier than wraps made with all purpose flour.
I give the credit of this recipe to my husband. He got this idea while purchasing lettuce leaves for salad. And together we executed it for breakfast. The wraps take only 10 minutes to prepare. Thus, a convenient choice for breakfast when you are getting late provided there is unused mix veg in the refrigerator.

- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 and 1/2 cup Mix Vegetable Sabzi
- 2 tbsp green chili sauce
- 2 tbsp red chili sauce
- Salt to taste (Optional)
- 6 Lettuce Leaves, washed and dried
Instructions
Filling: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl except the lettuce leaves. Divide the filling in six equal portions.
Wraps: Place the lettuce leaf on a plate, place one portion of the filling in the center, and press lightly from both side. Do the same for rest of the leaves. Wraps are ready to be devoured.
