Hi foodies,
Welcome back to another of my “Experiments in Kitchen” posts. Today it is easy and simple One-Pot Mac ‘N’ Cheese.
One-Pot Mac ‘N’ Cheese
Mac ‘N’ Cheese is quite a popular recipe. I am sure a lot of you must have already made it at home or at least tasted it. I had tasted this recipe outside and loved. But never made one at home. So this was my first experiment with mac ‘n’ cheese. It is not one of the healthy recipes, right with so much butter and cheese. So I was kind of postponing cooking it. But we all have some cheat days when we indulge ourselves in some savory treats. That day was yesterday for me and I finally cooked my first mac ‘n’ cheese. I selected this easy and simple One-Pot Mac ‘N’ Cheese from Tasty for my first trial.
Changes
Absolutely no changes as I had all the ingredients required for the recipe.
Let’s Begin
The first step is to bring the milk to boil. When the milk started boiling, I added the macaroni. Then let the macaroni boil in milk for few minutes.
I waited until the macaroni became soft. After which, I reduced the flame.
And added the butter, salt, pepper, and cheese to the macaroni. Then I kept stirring until the butter and cheese melted. Mac ‘N’ Cheese is ready.
Next, I sprinkled some parsley leaves and served hot.
How was it?
This Mac ‘n’ Cheese was smooth, soft, creamy, divine, and absolutely finger-licking good. As it should be with all that milk, butter, and cheese. We loved it. I made the whole packet and so it was too much for us for dinner. Next day, I reheated the left-over mac ‘n’ cheese in little milk and it tasted even better.
For the next time
Although this recipe is perfect as it is, I would like to use mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar cheese next time I make this recipe and see the difference in taste.
