Last year on my husband’s birthday, I baked a simple chocolate cake. That was my first time. This year I baked a cake again. But this time around it was Chocolate Mud Cake. I followed Bake Like a Pro’s recipe for the Chocolate Mud Cake. I follow his channel for cake recipes. He makes baking a simple process.
I didn’t make any changes to the recipe. As I didn’t have much time, I baked at 400 F for 30 minutes. Then let it stay inside the oven for another 10 minutes. Then placed it on a wire rack to cool down. When the cake was sufficiently cold, I poured the ganache all over it. To quickly cool the ganache over cake, I placed the cake inside my refrigerator.
I used my own recipe for the chocolate ganache, only this time I added brewed coffee to it. The addition enhanced the taste of the ganache.
The cake came out just as he says in his video – dense, soft and moist. I can still remember the chocolaty aroma that filled the entire flat while I was baking it. It took two days to finish it. We were enjoying every slice of this cake.
I didn’t take a lot of pictures this time. But this one turned out well.
